Swedish keeper signs four-year contract with Dutch champions
PSV Eindhoven have completed the signing of Manchester City goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson for an undisclosed fee.
Isaksson has agreed a four-year contract with the Dutch champions and will replace the Tottenham-bound Heurelho Gomes as PSV's No.1
He passed a medical on Wednesday and the Sweden international is relishing the opportunity of a fresh start in Dutch football.
"I am looking forward to it, it feels good to be here," Isaksson told the club's official website.
Great club
"Hopefully, I can enjoy a very nice time. PSV is a great club with a big sponsor, Philips.
"It's a stable club which has achieved good results in recent years, both domestically and in Europe.
"Gomes is a great goalkeeper. I will give everything to PSV."
Isaksson made just 20 first-team appearances for City after joining the club from Rennes in a £2million deal in the summer of 2006.
He lost out to Joe Hart to be City's first-choice keeper last season and also turned down a move during the January transfer window.
