PSV have completed the signing of Man City keeper Andreas Isaksson for an undisclosed fee.

PSV Eindhoven have completed the signing of Manchester City goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson for an undisclosed fee. Isaksson has agreed a four-year contract with the Dutch champions and will replace the Tottenham-bound Heurelho Gomes as PSV's No.1 He passed a medical on Wednesday and the Sweden international is relishing the opportunity of a fresh start in Dutch football. "I am looking forward to it, it feels good to be here," Isaksson told the club's official website.

Great club

"Hopefully, I can enjoy a very nice time. PSV is a great club with a big sponsor, Philips. "It's a stable club which has achieved good results in recent years, both domestically and in Europe. "Gomes is a great goalkeeper. I will give everything to PSV." Isaksson made just 20 first-team appearances for City after joining the club from Rennes in a £2million deal in the summer of 2006. He lost out to Joe Hart to be City's first-choice keeper last season and also turned down a move during the January transfer window.
