Parma midfielder interested in future move

Daniele Galloppa has admitted he would like to join Inter Milan one day, although for now he is focused on playing well for Parma.

Parma have been one of the surprise packages of the Serie A season so far and Galloppa has arguably been their star performer in midfield.

His fine form has been rewarded with a call-up to the Italy squad, although he was an unused substitute in Saturday's goalless draw against Holland.

Galloppa has been linked with a move to Inter and he concedes he would relish the chance to ply his trade with such a big club once he develops as a player.

"It's a great chance for me to be here with Italy, it's an incentive," said the 24-year-old.

"As for Inter, I would like to play for them in the future, but at the moment I just want to improve.

"You don't have a chance to improve at the big clubs as they don't wait around for the younger players to develop."

Parma, however, have stressed that they will be looking to strengthen in the January transfer window rather than let their best players leave.

President Tommaso Ghirardi told Sky Sport 24: "Our players will remain in Parma, then we will see who might come in."
