Fiorentina striker could be heading to Serie B on loan

Former West Ham striker Savio Nsereko could be on his way from Fiorentina to Torino on loan in January. The striker moved to Florence in a swap deal involving Manuel da Costa after struggling to make an impact in England following his switch from Brescia for £9million last January. But he has failed to make a Serie A appearance for Fiorentina this term and could now be moving on loan to the Serie B side. Torino sporting director Rino Foschi told Violanews.com that he has been in talks concerning the player. He said: "Savio at Torino is more than a hypothesis. "He is an interesting player who is not finding space in Fiorentina and who needs to find a team to play. "But first we have to do the evaluations because our classification requires us not to miss market operations." Savio's agent Patrick Bastianelli also confirmed the player could be on the move, telling tuttomercatoweb.com: "I am in daily contact with Foschi, the player should go to Torino on loan. "In Florence there are many good players in his role and he arrived on the last day of the summer market. "It was normal that he needs time to integrate."
