Viola allow ex-West Ham man to leave for loan stint

Fiorentina striker Savio Nsereko is on the verge of completing a season-long loan move to German side 1860 Munich. Nsereko - who spent time with West Ham in 2009 - has agreed the switch which will see him return to the club where he developed as a youth player. The 20-year-old started his professional career at Italian side Brescia and earned a move to the Hammers, believed to be in the region of £9million. But the Ugandan-born schemer struggled to make an impact at Upton Park and moved to Fiorentina in an attempt to kick-start his career. A move back to Munich now beckons for the former Germany Under 20 international, however, and he will spend the 2010 campaign in the second tier of the Bundesliga.

Outrank

Nsereko said he was determined to make the most of the opportunity at the Allianz Arena, telling Munich newspaper TZ: "If there are no surprises anymore, this arrangement is completed. "I have waived a whole lot of money to make the switch back, this season will be the most important campaign in my career. "I am looking to play a great season for TSV 1860, attempting to give everything back to TSV 1860 I have received from the club over all those years. "The club did a lot to make this loan switch become a fact. I am on a mission and I am going to look to outrank my usual performance level."
