Striker could be bound for Bundesliga
Ajax's out-of-contract striker Marko Pantelic has revealed he could be on his way back to Germany.
The 31-year-old is rumoured to be on Werder Bremen and Schalke's shopping-lists this summer after one uninspiring season in the Dutch top flight.
Pantelic is no stranger to Bundesliga action after netting 50 goals in 130 appearances for Hertha Berlin.
The Serbia international, who figured for his national team in their unsuccessful bid to qualify for the World Cup knock-out stages, admitted he would be interested in returning to Germany.
"At first I have to get over the fact we have not qualified from the group with Serbia at this World Cup and then I am going to see where I am going to ply my trade in the future," Pantelic told German ARD television.
"Looking at how things are, I have to admit that the German Bundesliga is always remaining a big and flattering option."
