Trialist hoping to impress
MLS trialist Omar Cummings is still hopeful he can earn a deal with Aston Villa.
The Colorado Rapids front-man is training with Villa during the American off-season.
The 28-year-old Jamaica international is enjoying his stint in Birmingham but hopes he can earn a move, either loan or permanent.
"It's very good to be at Villa and I'm enjoying it so far, yes," said Cummings.
"They are looking to do some paperwork, and we have a couple of reserve games, so we'll see how I do in those.
"Going back in March is the regime right now and I can't predict the future so I'm going with what's current right now.
"I've watched the league since I can remember, so I'm very excited to be here. If the opportunity (to stay longer) presents itself I'm welcome to it.
"It's the league I used to watch as a kid and at the time there was one TV station showing the teams that were doing well. So it's just for me, a dream come true, and to play in the Premier League and to get goals and all that would be so much more."
