Paul Dickov gives trialists a chance to make an impression

Oldham will give trialists Yassin Moutaouakil and Andre Blackman a run-out when they play for the reserves in the Manchester Cup on Tuesday evening. The two were poised to play against Bury last week after impressing manager Paul Dickov in training, but the game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch. Moutaouakil, 24, has a strong pedigree as he is a former France Under-21 international and cost Charlton £600,000 when he signed for the club in 2007. The right-back is available on a free transfer after the South London club terminated his contract by mutual consent last summer. Blackman, 20, currently plies his trade with AFC Wimbledon as a left-back after starting his career as a trainee with Arsenal. He is highly-rated by the Wimbledon staff who believe he has the tools to make it in the professional game.
