Eriksson still trying to bring in another striker this summer

Leicester City manager Sven Goran Eriksson has confirmed North Korea international Jong Tae-se is one of the names on his list as he tries to sign a new striker. Eriksson has been active in the transfer market during the summer as he looks to construct a squad capable of winning promotion to the Premier League. He is still aiming to improve his attacking options and has been linked with the likes of Nicky Maynard, Shane Long and Robbie Keane. North Korean forward Jong, who currently plays for Bochum in Germany, has also been linked with a move to the Championship club. Jong has previously had a trial at Blackburn Rovers and Eriksson acknowledged that the player is a possible option for the Foxes. However, Eriksson is unsure whether he will be able to add another striker to his squad in time for Leicester's opening game of the season against Coventry City on Saturday. "We are working on different targets and I am not sure if something will happen before next Saturday or not. But sooner or later it will happen," Eriksson told the Leicester Mercury. "Jong is one on a long list. I know him. He played for North Korea in the World Cup. "He is a good striker but he is only one name on a long, long list."
