Villarreal captain Gonzalo Rodriguez has assured Manchester City that they will be going out to beat Napoli.
City's UEFA Champions League campaign hangs by a thread as not only do they need to beat Bayern Munich on Wednesday, but they need the Spanish outfit to defeat Napoli.
The Yellow Submarines have nothing to play for at El Madrigal, as they already know they will finish bottom of the group, but Rodriguez insists they will be out to win.
"This is a Champions League game and many players dream all their lives of playing these type of matches," he insisted.
"Even though it means nothing for us, it's still an important game. We want to win this game, win at home in order to open a new positive chapter for us.
"We are not thinking of Manchester City or Napoli, we simply want to prove in front of our fans that we can do well."
Villarreal go into the game in poor form with six losses already chalked up in their league campaign this season, although they will remember that they knocked Napoli out of the Europa League last season.
