Teenage defender looking forward to working with Di Canio

Arsenal defender Daniel Boateng is looking forward to working with Paolo Di Canio after joining Swindon Town on loan until the end of the season. The teenager made his first-team debut for Arsenal against Bolton Wanderers in the Carling Cup in October before being rewarded with a new contract the following month. Boateng, who can play at right-back or centre-half, has now been allowed out on loan to gain further experience with League Two promotion hopefuls Swindon. "It's good to have got the deal done and to be here," Boateng told the club's official website. "I have been at Arsenal since I was 11-years old and have come up through the youth system, but this will be a totally new experience for me. "I have been following Swindon quite a lot over the past few weeks. "They play the game the right way. I saw the highlights after the Wigan game and it was great to watch. "When I got here I spoke to the manager for about 20 minutes and he is so enthusiastic. It's going to be great working with him."
