Out-of-favour Real Madrid winger Pedro Leon believes Jose Mourinho is set to stay as coach next season meaning he does not want to return to the Bernabeu himself.
The 25-year-old has spent the 2011-12 campaign on loan with Getafe after falling out with the Madrid supremo and he does not want to play under him next term.
Rather than go back to Los Merengues, Leon hopes to stay at Getafe for a second season on loan as he thinks he will not feature for Mourinho.
"In the contract that I have with Getafe there is a clause stating I can stay, but at the moment I am not sure," said Leon.
"I have not talked to anyone officially although the information that I have is that [Mourinho] will remain in charge of Real Madrid.
"That would mean things being the same as they were last year and so I want to stay where I am."
Leon signed for Real Madrid from Getafe in 2010, but fell out with Mourinho and rarely played before returning to Los Azulones last summer.
Bad luck with injuries plagued the winger this term, but he hopes things will change if he remains at the Coliseum for another year.
"It is has been a difficult year with a lot of bad luck," he continued.
"I have been out for the last month with a knee injury but I am back for the last four matches of the season.
"The team is preparing well and if we can win three of those four matches then we could qualify for Europe. We do want to win all four though.
"My luck has been not been good though because when the injuries are muscular you can do something but when things like cartilage is damaged you cannot do anything.
"Football is not all a bed of roses but I am now able to play and during the summer I will strengthen the knee ready for next season."
