Arsenal 5 Spurs 2 (26/02/12): These north London derbies rarely fail to deliver and this game had just about everything. Tottenham raced into a 2-0 lead before Arsenal rallied to level things before half-time. A strong second half showing from Arsenal saw them score three without response in a game which turned around their season. PO'R Manchester United 1 Manchester City 6 (23/10/11): There may have been a number of twists and turns before Manchester City got their hands on the Premier League crown, but there is no doubting where the tone was set. The changing of the guard in Manchester, and the English top-flight, took place at Old Trafford in October as City blitzed reigning champions United and hit their arch-rivals for six. CB Chelsea 3 Arsenal 5 (29/10/11): The Premier League match at Stamford Bridge was pure entertainment. The brilliance of Robin van Persie's hat-trick, the slapstick defending of John Terry, the emergence of the baffling character of Andre Santos - this topsy-turvy game had everything. It summed up Chelsea and Arsenal at their respective worst and best in the most fluctuating of campaigns. PF Chelsea 3 Manchester United 3 (05/02/12 ): United have become famed for their never-say-die approach under Sir Alex Ferguson, but to hit back from 3-0 down against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge is an impressive achievement even by their standards. Looking down and out after Jonny Evans' own goal and further strikes after the break from Juan Mata and David Luiz, the Red Devils responded with a pair of penalties from Wayne Rooney before Javier Hernandez levelled with six minutes to go. RP Barcelona 2 Chelsea 2 - Champions League semi-final second leg (24/04/2012): The game may have offered little by way of flowing football but what it lacked in pretty passing it more than made up for in drama. It was attack v defence following John Terry's sending off but after the Blues repelled wave after wave of Barca raids, Fernando Torres broke clear to send Chelsea to the final and Gary Neville's commentary clip soaring to the top of our 'most viewed' chart. CH Manchester City 3 QPR 2 (13/05/2012): Roberto Mancini claimed God was playing in blue, while Vincent Kompany spoke of a miracle - for once football wasn't guilty of indulging in hyperbole. Manchester's noisiest neighbours are probably still partying as I type and after a 44-year wait, who can blame them? Whether you're blue, red or a neutral there can be no denying what passed over 95 minutes at the Etihad on the final day will go down as one of the Premier League's finest ever games. The only downside - how can it get any better if you're a City fan? They'll probably have fun finding out.
