Defender looking for a new club after being frozen out at AC Milan

Taye Taiwo could be on his way to France after not being given a squad number at AC Milan for this season. The defender has found his chances limited to just an handful of appearances since signing from Marseille last summer and ended the season on-loan at QPR. But despite helping the West London side avoid the drop he was unable to play his way to a permanent deal. The Nigerian full-back could now be on his way back to the French side he joined from Lobi Stars in January 2005, where he is still a crowd favourite. "I have a contract with Milan unless they want to let me go for free," he told Sky Sports. "I am relaxed. "Knowing the qualities I have there will be many teams interested in me. I never had the chance to show what I am capable of doing for a great time but that is life."
