Fleetwood Town defender Kieran Charnock has joined relegated non-league club Macclesfield Town on loan until January 2013.
The 27-year-old centre-back made only four starts for Micky Mellon's men last season and will move to the Silkmen as they seek to make an immediate return to the Football League following relegation from League Two. The former Peterborough, Torquay, and Morecambe player could make his first appearance for Macclesfield in a friendly against New Mills on Wednesday evening.
