Wycombe goalkeeper Nikki Bull has left the League Two club due to "genuine footballing and personal reasons".

The 31-year-old former Aldershot shotstopper, who has made over 100 appearances for the Chairboys since joining from Brentford in 2010, ruled himself out of Wycombe's 4-1 FA Cup defeat at Crewe on Saturday having expressed his desire to leave the League Two side. A Wycombe statement said: "The club would like to extend its thanks to Nikki Bull for his time at Adams Park. We recognise Nikki had genuine footballing and personal reasons in his life which led to his desire to leave us early last week, which to clarify made him unavailable for the weekend's match. "We wish him well for the future within football and life in general and sincerely hope he goes on to make the best of his career during the rest of his playing days and beyond." Bull said: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Wycombe Wanderers for my time at the club, and to wish Gareth Ainsworth and my team-mates every success in the future."
