Coventry defender Jordan Willis has signed a new two-year contract, with an option to extend his stay for a further year.

The 19-year-old Academy product has made a big impression since making his first-team debut in November 2011 and Sky Blues boss Steven Pressley is pleased Willis has committed his future to the club. "I have made it very clear since day one that I want our younger players to be at the heart of our squad," Pressley said. "Jordan Willis is a very talented young defender and we have very high hopes for him at this club. "He must continue to work extremely hard but his chance will come. And, when it does, he can go on to be a big player for this football club. "Jordan's attitude epitomises the values we want to uphold at this football club. "So we are delighted to see him sign a new contract and we hope he is the first of many to do so."
