Blades duo could go on loan

Nigel Clough has revealed Febian Brandy and Florent Cuvelier could both leave Sheffield United on loan.

Brandy, 24, has made just two appearances from the bench since the beginning of November while 21-year-old Cuvelier, who has struggled with injury, has played only seven minutes since the end of October. Both men do not appear to feature in Clough's immediate plans as the Blades look to be heading clear of relegation danger in League One following an impressive run of form. In addition to this, Clough is looking for reinforcements to his squad and is open to the duo going out on loan to get some game time. "The two that aren't in the team are Febian and Flo, they cant seem to get on the pitch," he said. "If we bring two or three in ourselves that might push them further down the pecking order, so there has been one or two enquiries out there for them. "It would be to get them some football. We can't get them on the pitch. We don't want a situation where we have got 24 or 25 players, we want them out playing football."
