Following an injury to top scorer Charlie Austin, Redknapp drafted in Wolves outcast Kevin Doyle and West Ham flop Modibo Maiga on deadline day.
The move paid dividends as Doyle grabbed the opening goal against Burnley last weekend while Maiga climbed off the bench to equalise in the 3-3 draw.
Redknapp is now hoping the duo can fill the void left by Austin and keep Rangers in the race for automatic promotion.
"It was good to see them score" said the Loftus Road boss.
"We lost a couple of key players, Charlie Austin and then Matt Phillips at the weekend, so we needed to get a couple of loans in. Kevin played the whole game and put in a really good performance and Maiga came on and nicked a goal so it was good.
"Maiga's confidence should be high now. Kevin's hardly played at Wolves and to come here and score will have boosted his confidence and with Maiga we are hoping for the same thing, hopefully he will come here and score some goals.
"They are important with Charlie missing, it's a big blow to us but they've come in and hit the ground running so it's up to them now, it's a good opportunity for them."
