Free agent midfielder Ollie Norburn has completed a move to Plymouth on a one-year deal.

The 21-year-old, who has featured in both of the Pilgrims' pre-season friendlies so far, began his career at Leicester but failed to break into the first team. He joined Bristol Rovers during the 2011/12 season on a three-month loan deal which later turned into a permanent two-year contract the following summer. Norburn left the club by mutual consent in April. "He's got lots of things that I really like in his game," said manager John Sheridan, speaking to Plymouth's official website. "He's got all the attributes I am looking for in a midfield player."
