Cureton pens Dagenham deal

Dagenham & Redbridge have signed veteran striker Jamie Cureton on a one-year deal.

The 38-year-old had been on trial with the club following his release by Cheltenham, and scored against Cheshunt in a pre-season friendly earlier this month. He made his professional debut for Norwich back in 1994 before returning to the East Anglian club in 2007. Cureton has over 250 league goals during a career spanning 21 years which includes a Championship Golden Boot award, and has played in all four top-flight English Leagues.
