Frederic Veseli cannot wait to get started at Port Vale after joining on a half-season loan from Ipswich.

The Swiss defender also revealed that manager Micky Adams was key in luring him to the League One outfit. Veseli told the club's website: "I'm happy to come to Port Vale. The interest from Micky Adams was a deciding factor in making me want to come to Vale Park, especially after Ipswich made the decision for me to go out on loan to get some game time. "I want to take as much as I can from this move, I'm looking to improve my game and help the club as much as possible. In the process I would also like to progress my career further. "I'm going to come here, work hard from day one and give everything I can like I always do, to work my way into the manager's plans. "Micky is quite a famous manager with a really good track-record and everyone I spoke to said good things about him, so I couldn't turn down the opportunity. "I've spoken to a couple of players that have played under Micky and they all said positive things about him. The team also finished in a good position last season with a lot of clean sheets, which is obviously a nice thing to see for a defender, so it's going to be a good experience."
