Millwall defender Carlos Edwards faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a horror knee injury.
The right-back was stretchered off seven minutes into Saturday's 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest after falling awkwardly in a challenge with Britt Assombalonga.
And a scan on Monday morning has confirmed Edwards has sustained "significant" knee ligament damage which will require surgery.
Lions physio Bobby Bacic told the club website: "Carlos has had a scan earlier today and, as feared, it has shown that he has significant knee ligament disruption, involving the cruciate and lateral ligaments. He has also sustained a rupture to the hamstring muscle.
"Carlos will be seeing a specialist tomorrow (Tuesday) with a view to surgery."
