Todd Kane says it is an honour to join Bristol City having made the switch from Chelsea.

The defender, who will stay at Ashton Gate until January 18, made his Robins bow in the derby defeat to Swindon on Saturday and he is looking forward to pulling on a City shirt again. "I'm honoured to have joined Bristol City - it's a great club," he told the club's official website. "I want to take this opportunity to show what I can do and help Bristol City. "I know it's only my first game but you could see the desire and the attitude of the boys. It's a great team and there's a fantastic work ethic throughout the club. "Every player wants to win silverware and the goal here is to win the league. "The lads are passionate and so is the manager. I spoke to family and friends about the move but I jumped at the chance to come here."
