James Rowe has become the third player of the day to be released by Tranmere.

The 23-year-old follows Eliot Richards and Abdulai Baggie out of the door at Prenton Park after having his contract cancelled by mutual consent. Rowe joined in 2013 following a spell with Forest Green and went on to make 36 appearances, half of which came as a substitute. Rovers boss Micky Adams told the club's official website: "We wish James the best of luck for the future and thank him for his time at Tranmere Rovers."
