Chesterfield have made Mani Dieseruvwe's loan deal from Sheffield Wednesday permanent.

The 19-year-old has spent the last month with the League One side and has now been handed an 18-month deal by the Spireites.

"We're delighted to have Mani with us permanently now," boss Paul Cook told the club's official website.

"He has power and pace and that's exactly what a lot of teams are looking for to play in today's game.

"Mani's shown great signs in training and we're really excited to see what he'll be able to do with our team going forwards."
