Leeds teenager Kalvin Phillips has agreed a new two-year contract with the club.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who made the first-team breakthrough last season, has committed himself to the club until at least the summer of 2017.

Phillips progressed through Leeds' academy and made his senior debut in the Easter Monday defeat at Wolves.

He retained his place in the starting line-up the following week against Cardiff and scored his first goal for the club in a man-of-the-match performance.

Fellow midfielder Lewis Cook signed a new two-year contract last month, while teenagers Tyler Denton, Jake Skelton, Luke Parkin and Alex Purver will all sign new deals when they return for pre-season training.
