Scotland U21 coach Ricky Sbragia has named a 22-man squad for the UEFA European U21 Championship qualifier against Northern Ireland next month.

The tie, at Mourneview Park, Lurgan, on Saturday, September 5 (2pm) is the first match in Group 3 which also includes France, Ukraine, Iceland and FYR Macedonia.

Scottish Premiership new boys Hearts have a five-strong representation in the travelling party including goalkeeper Jack Hamilton, who will face competition from Liverpool's uncapped Ryan Fulton as he looks to add to his previous three international appearances.

Dundee United central defender John Souttar, at 18 the youngest member of the squad, is in line for his first outing at U21 level along with Hibernian striker Jason Cummings, the only other uncapped member of Sbragia's squad.

Jason Cummings scores a third goal for Hibs against Alloa at Easter Road where the hosts won 4-1
