Inter Milan's perfect start to the Serie A season came to a crashing end as Fiorentina recorded a convincing 4-1 victory at San Siro.

The Nerazzurri, who won their first five games, were 3-0 down inside 23 minutes against La Viola as Josip Ilicic scored an early penalty and Nicola Kalinic bagged a brace.

Miranda was sent off on the half-hour mark but Inter managed to rally and respond through Mauro Icardi, who notched midway through the second half.

But Kalinic completed his hat-trick to ensure Paulo Sousa's Fiorentina are the new leaders.

Genoa denied 10-man AC Milan the chance to win a third straight game as Blerim Dzemaili condemned the Rossoneri to a 1-0 defeat.

Sinisa Mihajlovic's men fell behind to Dzemaili's 10th-minute opener that deflected in off Giacomo Bonaventura.

Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli was dismissed just before half-time after raking Diego Capel's face and the visitors could not find a way back into the game.
