Lee Sharpe joined Fenners and Helen on the Soccer AM sofa to discuss his time at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Sharpe played 257 games for United under Ferguson and the 44-year-old lifted the lid on his relationship with former Man Utd manager.
"He loved to hate me," Sharpe told Soccer AM. "I don't think we had a relationship if I'm being honest.
"He gave me a rollocking after games but that was about it. He never sat me down for a chat."
The former United winger, who retired 13 years ago, also talked about the moment Ferguson picked him up at the train station following his move from Torquay to Old Trafford, plus Fergie's reaction to an olive green suit Sharpe wore to a function after another trophy winning season.
