Nice moved into the top three in Ligue 1 despite being held to a 1-1 home draw by Marseille on Sunday.

Mauricio Isla headed Marseille in front shortly before half-time, but Valere Germain restored parity in the 58th minute, tapping in from close range.

Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi came closest to scoring a winning goal, but his header cannoned back off the post. The point keeps Marseille in 11th place.

Lyon boosted their hopes of securing Champions League qualification with a 4-1 victory over Caen on Sunday.

The seven-time Ligue 1 champions claimed their third successive league win in comfortable fashion with Samuel Umtiti, Alexandre Lacazette and Maxwell Cornet all netting before half-time.
