The city of Leicester celebrated their football club's remarkable Premier League season on Friday with 'Backing the Blues Day'.
A win at Manchester United on Sunday will secure the title for Leicester City, but many of their local supporters already appear to have crowned the Foxes as champions with lots of smiling faces and great excitement in the city.
A series of events was held in Leicester during the day with fans queueing to have their photographs taken alongside the Premier League trophy which was on display.
Schoolchildren and teachers dressed in blue with some continuously chanting Leicester City songs, a large pork pie dedicated to the team was baked and a Leicester City conga was performed.
With the title not quite yet in the bag, the participants will be keeping their fingers crossed that Ranieri's side can do the business at Old Trafford on Sunday, but the Italian acknowledges that his side still have work to do.
He said: "We are fighting to try to make this dream a reality. But it's not a reality yet.
"On Sunday there is a very tough match. I have a lot of respect for Louis van Gaal, the players and fans of Manchester United."
Ranieri is, though, happy to see the excitement building in the city with the Foxes on the brink of claiming an historic success.
"I'm very happy when I see the fans happy. I have an open heart to the fans. This is unbelievable, this is history," he said.
