Former Manchester United midfielder Ji-Sung Park turned out for a De Montfort University course XI earlier this week.
The South Korean, 35, retired from the professional game in 2014, but is still feeding his footballing hobby, and on Monday appeared with his course mates for a clash against the Vice-Chancellors' XI, which Park's side lost 7-1.
Park is enrolled in a management, law and humanities of sport MA course at De Montfort, which runs for one year.
Regarding the course, Park said in the summer: "One of my colleagues said it had been a great experience and though many players go into coaching or management, I wanted to improve my knowledge of football around the pitch and then perhaps work in the South Korean football league."
Park made over 200 appearances for United under Sir Alex Ferguson, having been signed from PSV Eindhoven in 2005.
He won four league titles and a Champions League at the club, and scored the winner as United beat Liverpool in the Premier League in March 2010.
Park will no doubt be watching as United travel to Anfield on Red Monday, live on Sky Sports 1.
