Ronaldinho has agreed a deal to return to Barcelona as the club's new ambassador, forming part of their 'Legends' team.

The Brazilian World Cup winner spent five years at Barcelona from 2003 to 2008, and his return to the Nou Camp will be formally announced by president Josep Maria Bartomeu at the club's museum on Friday.

Ronaldinho won two Spanish league titles and a Champions League trophy during his time at Barcelona and will now represent the club at various events over the next few years.

The 36-year-old's role will also include taking part in clinics and training sessions, as well as providing educational talks at Barcelona's academy projects.
