17-year-old sensation Justin Kluivert, son of Patrick, scored his first professional goal in Ajax's 1-1 draw with Excelsior

In the Eredivisie, Justin Kluivert scored his first senior Ajax goal in Sunday's encounter with Excelsior to follow in the footsteps of his father, Patrick.

The forward's first Eredivisie goal comes 10 years and one day after his father scored his last in the Dutch league - PSV's only goal in a 5-1 defeat to Ajax.

Kluivert made the starting lineup on Sunday afternoon for head coach Peter Bosz's side with Kasper Dolberg out with an injury.

The 17-year-old scored a tap-in after getting on the end of a cross from Hakim Ziyech in the 32nd minute to level against Excelsior.

Kenny Tete's own goal six minutes beforehand had given Excelsior the lead.

Kluivert made his first-team debut in the 3-1 win over PEC Zwolle back in January. He has already made eight appearances in the league, and could now see plenty more game time after netting his first professional goal.
