Barcelona are still trying to work out a plan to sign Philippe Coutinho this summer. With what Liverpool will demand and his near £4m-a-year salary, the 24-year-old would disrupt the Catalan club's pay system. Also, it is understood that the Reds want a similar fee as the one received for Luis Suarez in 2014.

On loan at Deportivo Alaves, the future of Manchester City transfer target, Theo Hernandez, is up in the air. Officials from Barcelona apparently met the player a few days ago to agree a deal worth €3.5m (£2.96m) over six seasons for the 19-year-old defender, but apparently, he is still keen to make a deal with Atletico's city rivals Real Madrid.

Inter Milan are on the search for a new manager. While they wait for answers from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid, they have turned their attention to Napoli's Maurizio Sarri.

As Inter Milan look to grow and challenge the top clubs once again, they are reportedly targeting Roma's Daniele De Rossi and former Manchester United transfer target Kevin Strootman.

LE PARISEN

After a superb season for Nice, Jean Michel Seri has become a target for Paris Saint-Germain this summer. He is now thought to be Unai Emery's number one midfield option, and not Monaco's Tiemoue Bakayoko who is reportedly wanted by Chelsea. Seri has a release clause of €40m (£33.8m) and is seen as the successor to Thiago Motta's role in the capital.

L'EQUIPE

Formerly linked with a move to Bournemouth, Lyon's young full-back Jordy Gaspar could be about to make a shock move to Ligue 1 rivals Monaco. The 19-year-old is out of contract in the summer and with only two league appearances, he is keen to leave on a free.

Former Spurs playmaker Adel Taarabt is in trouble again. On loan at Genoa from Benfica, the boss of the Italian club was very critical of players that joined in January. "We have players who have arrived that I do not even see in practice." Without naming names, it's clear that the Moroccan international, with just one start to his name, is having more problems in his career.
