Arsenal's record signing Alexandre Lacazette says he's happy to be at the club and is looking forward to the "challenge" of playing in the "best league in the world".

The forward, a £52m signing from Lyon, is with his new team-mates on a pre-season tour of Australia and China and is expected to make his debut against Sydney FC tomorrow.

Lacazette joined the likes of Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud at Sydney Harbour to unveil Arsenal's new third kit and he spoke of his reasons for moving to the club.

"I'm very happy to be in Arsenal colours and I'm eager to play for Arsenal. I joined Arsenal for the challenge and playing in the Premier League is very important to me, it's the best league in the world."

The future of several Arsenal players including Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is still in doubt but Lacazette, who will wear the number nine shirt, is happy with the way his pre-season is going.

"I feel very well, they train technically and physically which is comparable to what I'm used to," said the French international.

"I feel very integrated by the rest of the squad"
