Iain Hume is weighing up his options after receiving several offers to return to the Indian Super League [ISL], Sky sources understand.
Former Leicester striker Hume played for Ponferradina and then Extremadura in Spain either side of a two-season stint with reigning ISL champions Atletico Kolkata.
Sky sources understand a number of clubs in India are vying for Hume's services, while there have also been expressions of interest in the Canada international's services from other countries.
The well-travelled forward, who counts Tranmere, Barnsley and Preston among his former clubs, has earned legendary status in the fledgling Indian Super League
Hume was a runner-up in the first edition of the ISL with Kerala Blasters in 2014, outshining the likes of Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet to finish joint-second top scorer behind Brazilian forward Elano.
The 33-year-old won the Hero of the League award that season, with his exploits earning him a move to ISL powerhouse Atletico.
The Edinburgh-born striker collected the Fittest Player Award in his first season with Atletico in 2015 before winning the title with the club last year. Hume has been named in the Team of the Year in each of the first three editions of the ISL.
