Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane has been named Premier League Player of the Month for September.
The 24-year-old was not just prolific in the Premier League, however, with goals for England in World Cup Qualifying and Tottenham in the European Cup taking his overall tally for September to 13 in eight matches.
Kane's accolade means he joins Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie in winning the award on five occasions, just behind Steven Gerrard who leads the way on six.
Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero, Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross, Newcastle defender Jamaal Lascelles, Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata were the other players nominated for the September award.
Kane will hope to add to his tally when Mauricio Pochettino's side face Bournemouth at Wembley on Saturday, where they will be keen to secure their first Premier League victory at their temporary home.
"It's great to be up there with those sorts of names," Kane told Tottenham's official website.
"Of course, there's still a long way to go in my career so we'll see what happens. I'm very pleased to get this award again and it's something I'm very proud of.
"I didn't score for the whole of August and the first game in September I put a cross in and it went all the way in but that's football, that's the game and sometimes you've just got to go with it.

"You know the chances are going to come when you're playing in this team so I was happy to turn it around and hopefully I can continue that for the rest of the season now."
Meanwhile, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been named Premier League Manager of the Month after he guided the club to four wins from four in the month, where they scored 17 goals without conceding any in the process.
