Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson could face a touchline ban for the Betfred Scottish League Cup final against Celtic.
Robinson was ordered to the stands by referee Steven McLean in the second half of their 2-0 semi-final win against Rangers after arguing with manager Pedro Caixinha.
He will now face a hearing due to previous bans, including a three-match suspension received after being sent to the stand during a match against Aberdeen last year.
The incident on Sunday involved Caixinha calling for Ryan Bowman to be sent off following a clash with Fabio Cardoso and it is understood that the Rangers manager will be given and a one-match ban while Robinson will have to wait to learn his fate.
Bowman escaped a ban for the elbow while Rangers defender Bruno Alves has been cited for an alleged swipe at Louis Moult, with the club appealing his two-match suspension.
