The January transfer window may only just have closed but Europe's biggest clubs are already plotting their summer moves with a World Cup to negotiate around.
Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the European media to round-up the latest transfer news.
Paris Saint-Germain have drawn up a list of four potential managers to replace Unai Emery after failure in the Champions League yet again. Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is a firm favourite and could be tempted into leaving the Premier League in search of trophies. The champions-elect in France are keeping a close eye on Antonio Conte's situation at Chelsea and could move quickly if he fails to see out the season at Stamford Bridge. Jose Mourinho is a long-term target, as is Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone. (L'Equipe)
PSG have identified Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante as Thiago Motta's successor at the Parc des Princes. The 35-year-old Brazilian looks set to move on at the end of the current campaign. Antero Henrique, the club's sporting director, has the Paris-born defensive midfielder at the top of his summer wishlist and is confident the player wants to return to Ligue 1. (Le10Sport)
And, in an attempt to shore things up defensively, PSG have put all of their eggs in one basket, with the club determined to sign Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer. The French club want the Italian to replace Alphonse Areola between the sticks in a move that would bring Kevin Trapp's career in France to an end. (Le10Sport)
Brighton, Crystal Palace and West Ham are all interested in signing Lille defender Ibrahim Amadou in the summer. The 24-year-old almost joined Palace on Deadline Day but a move could not be completed. (Le 10 Sport)
Zinedine Zidane holds his future in his own hands. The Real Madrid manager masterminded Wednesday's win over Paris Saint-Germain to put Los Blancos into the quarter-finals of the Champions League and now, as a reward, president Florentino Perez will let him decide his own fate in June. (Marca)
Gareth Bale, a rumoured target for Manchester United and Chelsea, is no longer part of 'Plan A' at the Santiago Bernabeu. Instead, Zidane trusts Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez to carry out his instructions in the high-profile games. It could be a sign that the manager is happy to lose the Welshman when the window reopens in the summer. (AS)
Barcelona now want to keep hold of Ivan Rakitic. There had been rumours suggesting the midfielder was free to leave in the summer with Liverpool interested and the La Liga side primed to bring in Arthur to further reinforce their midfield. However, Ernesto Valverde believes there is still a place in his squad for the Croatian. (AS)
Jupp Heynckes has revealed that Bordeaux winger Malcom is on Bayern Munich's radar this summer. The Bayern boss revealed the club's recruitment team had been keeping a close eye on the Bordeaux attacker: "I do not know the player enough. But he's certainly in the focus of our scouting department with Hasan Salihamidzic at the top." (SportBild)
Jann-Fiete Arp will leave Hamburg this summer if the club drop out of the Bundesliga. Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig have shown an interest in the teenage prodigy but it is Tottenham who are frontrunners for his signature. Spurs are Arp's second club and the team he played with on his PlayStation when he was younger. Now Mauricio Pochettino's men have been knocked out of the Champions League their attention will turn towards summer signings. (SportBild)
Borussia Dortmund are hoping to unearth a new Robert Lewandowski and have had scouts in Poland recently keeping a close eye on matches. They returned having been impressed by Jaroslaw Niezgoda of Legia Warszawa and Przemyslaw Frankowski of Jagiellonia Białystok. The pair, both 22, have contracts with their respective clubs until 2020 and could be available for a reasonable price. (SportBild)
Juventus believed they had done enough to convince Liverpool midfielder Emre Can to join them in Turin. However, in recent weeks Real Madrid have joined the race to sign the German and this has changed things. It is why the player and his entourage have asked for more time to assess their options before making their final decision. (Gazzetta dello Sport)
Milan rivals AC and Inter are battling it out for the signature of Real Madrid playmaker Mateo Kovacic. Inter tried to re-sign the midfielder in January, initially on loan, but a deal couldn't be struck. They eventually settled on Barcelona's Rafinha. Now AC want to bring Kovacic back to Italy in the summer on a permanent basis and believe the lure of first-team football will be enough to convince him to join them. (Calciomercato)
AC Milan are interested in signing Porto defender Ivan Marcano when the 30-year-old's contract expires in the summer. The versatile Spaniard can play as a centre-back as well as left-back. Porto signed him in 2014 to replace the Manchester City-bound Eliaquim Mangala. (Calciomercato)
Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is ready to leave Anfield, with Napoli and Borussia Dortmund both considering moves for the 30-year-old. Mignolet lost his place in Jurgen Klopp's starting XI to Loris Karius and has been vocal in recent weeks about just how unhappy he is. (La Derniere Heure)
