Leeds United are interested in signing Hull City striker Abel Hernandez, according to Sky sources.

Sky Sports News understands the Championship side are keen on signing the Uruguayan forward, who is out of contract at the KCOM Stadium this summer.

Hernandez, 27, joined Hull for £10m in 2014 and scored 28 goals in 49 league appearances for the club.

Reports linked Hernandez with a transfer to play-off finalists Aston Villa last summer but a move failed to materialise, with Villa boss Steve Bruce still reportedly monitoring the player's future.
