Nice are close to agreeing a loan move for Reading midfielder Emerse Fae. Reading have been braced for Fae's exit since suffering Premier League relegation last season and it appears Ligue 1 outfit Nice will be the Ivory Coast international's next destination. Fae is currently away with his country as they participate in 2010 World Cup qualifiers, however the move - which would also include an option to make the deal permanent - is all but agreed. It is expected the final details will be concluded when Fae returns to Madejski Stadium and he will then move to France. Reading director of football Nick Hammond told Reading's official website: "There are only a couple of things that need finalising at this stage.

Problem

"I can't foresee any problems, so the deal should be done sooner rather then later." Meanwhile, Reading boss Steve Coppell insists he will not be looking to bring in any new faces for at least another two weeks as he awaits the end of Euro 2008. "This is a dormant period right now," said Coppell. "The Euros are on, and also most football people are away on holiday. "It's a very quiet time right now and it always is. At the end of the month and the beginning of next month, that's when things start to happen. "By then you've got teams back in training, the Euros are over and attention is given to squads and doing business. "This is just a talking time right now, it's not action time. I've got lots of agents ringing me all of the time, but only the clubs decide when things happen."
