Striker reveals Jackett admiration

Lloyd Owusu has admitted that he would be willing to join Millwall, should the Lions make a move. The London club are yet to confirm their interest in the veteran striker, but are believed to be keen on the former Sheffield Wednesday and Reading hit-man. The 31-year-old is currently on the books of League One side Yeovil but is yet to extend his contract at Huish Park. Having revealed his admiration for Millwall boss Kenny Jackett he has effectively invited an approach from the Lions, and would appear unlikely to still be with the Glovers next season.

Ambition

"If the chance arose to come to Millwall I would definitely look at it," Owusu told the Western Daily Press. "Kenny tried to sign me when he was Swansea boss. He is a great coach and a great manager and I would love to work under someone with so much ambition that he would leave Manchester City to be manager of Millwall. "It is nice to be linked to such a big club. They are a team with great potential who should be striving to get back into the Championship."
