Coventry reported to be interested in signing winger

Bristol City have accepted an offer from an unnamed club for Michael McIndoe, with Coventry City rumoured to be keen on the winger. McIndoe appeared poised to join Sheffield United earlier in the summer after the two clubs agreed a fee, however his move to Bramall Lane collapsed. Another club have now come in for McIndoe and Robins boss Gary Johnson confirmed the 29-year-old is holding talks over a transfer away from Ashton Gate. "We can't say too much, but we have had a bid from a club and it has been accepted," said Johnson. "Nothing's done yet, but Michael is talking terms with them." Meanwhile, Johnson has confirmed he will not consider picking Adriano Basso after the goalkeeper asked to leave the Robins after rejecting a new contract. He added: "He believes he's worth more than what he has been offered by us. "The problem comes when a player does this without having anything else lined up. "When someone puts in a written transfer request they are not in your plans."
