Alan Hutton is confident the Scotland squad is 'moving in the same direction' after putting previous controversies in the past.
The Tottenham full-back was reportedly one of a number of players who staged a late-night drinking session following March's World Cup qualifying Group Nine defeat to Holland.
Barry Ferguson and Allan McGregor have been banned from representing their country as a result of additional events, and Hutton has revealed Scotland boss George Burley has warned the rest of the squad.
Scotland have not been to a World Cup finals since 1998 but they face Norway on Wednesday chasing a spot as one of the best runners-up in qualifying, which earns a play-off tie in the race for a place in South Africa in 2010.
Hutton insists the squad is now focused on achieving that aim after the events of 'Boozegate', saying: "The manager has had a conversation with us before training.
Massive achievement
"All the stuff that went on was not great and not good for anybody involved with Scotland but we have to focus on the game at hand. We have not got to a finals in 11 years and to get there would be a massive achievement.
"Hopefully we are all pulling in the same direction to get there.
"There were always ground rules but obviously what happened was a bit out of line. We have gone over it. We are all professionals and we all know how we should conduct ourselves. The manager has gone over it and everyone is moving in the same direction."
Hutton, 24, has endured something of an injury nightmare since his £9million move to Spurs from Rangers last year but he believes he is finally over his troubles.
He said: "It's like starting afresh again. We've had nine pre-season games, so sharpness is not a problem for me now and I am fit and looking forward to getting on with the games."
