West Brom midfielder Chris Brunt has put pen-to-paper on a new three-year contract at the Hawthorns.
The left-sided player joined the club from Sheffield Wednesday two years ago and has now extended his stay until 2012, with the option of another year included in the deal.
After scoring the goals that effectively clinched the Championship title at the end of his first season, he went on to win the club's player of the year award during the next campaign.
Brunt expressed his delight at the new deal and thanked the club for rewarding his contribution to the team.
"It's nice to be rewarded for the progress I've made here and I'm delighted to have signed a new contract," he told the club's official website.
"I've enjoyed my time here. It's been great for my career and I feel it's been relatively successful.
"Winning the title was a terrific experience and although last season ended in relegation, on a personal level, I still enjoyed my first season in the Premier League.
"The fans have made me feel really welcome from day one and I'm looking forward to making further progress this season and hopefully get back up.
"We've made a good start and I'm really enjoying working under the new coaching staff."
Baggies manager Roberto Di Matteo was also happy to secure the services of the Northern Ireland international and said that Brunt will be an integral part of the team for many years to come.
He said: "It's always a big bonus when one of your core players commits his future to the club. Chris is a talented player who is definitely part of our long term plans."
