Steven Taylor insists he has no intention of leaving Newcastle United and says he has not been contacted by other clubs.
Following Newcastle's relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season, a mass exodus has taken place at St James' Park.
Taylor has also been linked with a move away from the Magpies, with Everton reported to have expressed an interest in the defender.
Newcastle caretaker boss Chris Hughton revealed earlier in the week that there had been no bids for Taylor, who is also unaware of any interest.
And Taylor is not concerned by the speculation about his future as he has pledged to stay with the Magpies for the long term.
"I'm going nowhere. I'm a Geordie and this is my club," Taylor told The People. "This is where I want to be.
"I've heard all the talk about me leaving in the past couple of weeks, but no-one has contacted either me or my representatives and that suits me down to the ground.
"I've even heard I'll be going in the January transfer window, but as far as I'm concerned I'll be here for the rest of the season - and longer if possible.
"I am committed to Newcastle United and I hope I prove that every time I pull on the black and white shirt."
