Bignall agrees one-month loan deal

Stockport have announced the signing of Reading teenager Nicholas Bignall on loan until January. The striker spent time at Northampton and Cheltenham last season and new Royals boss Brendan Rodgers has also agreed to let him to go in search of first-team action. Stockport manager Gary Ablett has therefore taken Bignall to Edgeley Park as he looks for attacking options in his side's League One campaign. The 19-year-old trained with his new team-mates on Monday morning and goes into the Hatters' squad for Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy game at Crewe. This season Bignall has featured in both of Reading's Carling Cup ties against Burton and Barnsley, scoring twice in the 5-1 victory over the Football League newcomers.
