Michael Kightly has handed Wolves a boost after returning to training although Jody Craddock is sidelined with a hamstring strain.
Kightly is yet to kick a ball for Mick McCarthy's side this season after battling back from hip surgery and a broken metatarsal.
The 23-year-old is now back in full training, although McCarthy has hinted he will not return to action this weekend against Blackburn Rovers.
"Kightly was back in full training yesterday, which is good news," he told the Express and Star.
"We'll have to see what happens in terms of a game because he's still nowhere near the real Kights yet.
"We'll just make sure he's alright and doesn't get frustrated with himself, but he's fine."
One player who will not be available for the weekend trip to Ewood Park is captain Craddock after he injured his hamstring in training.
Craddock is also likely to sit out their following match against Fulham meaning McCarthy will partner Christophe Berra and Michael Mancienne at the back.
"Jody's hurt his hamstring," confirmed McCarthy. "He strained it during training last week and will be out for another week or so."
