Lisandro Lopez has been ruled out of Lyon's next two games with a suspected groin injury.

Lyon striker will miss clashes against Toulouse and Debrecen

Lisandro Lopez has been ruled out of Lyon's next two games with a suspected groin injury. The striker has proved a big hit in France following his £20.6million move from Porto in the summer as the club look to fill the sizeable gap left by Karim Benzema. The Argentine already has six goals in seven games in all competitions this term but will miss the weekend's clash with Toulouse. The injury will also mean the 26-year-old will have to sit out the UEFA Champions League match at Debrecen on Tuesday. Lyon should not miss the frontman too much and go into their European game knowing they already have three points on the board having beaten Fiorentina 1-0 in their opening fixture. Lopez should return for the club's trip to Lens a week on Saturday as they look to close the gap on reigning champions Bordeaux at the top of the league.
